These Terms of Service govern your use of Base Bins (Base Landscaping Inc.) services. By booking our services, you agree to these terms.

Services

Base Bins provides bin rental and junk removal services in the Ottawa area. Services are subject to availability and our service area coverage.

Booking & Payment

  • A valid credit card is required to confirm bookings
  • Payment is due upon completion of service
  • We accept credit card, Interac e-Transfer, and cash
  • Quoted prices are valid for the specific service described

Bin Rental Terms

Rental Period

Standard rental periods are 24-hour, 3-day, or 7-day. Extensions are available at $99 per additional week.

Weight Limits

Both 8-yard and 15-yard bins include up to 8 tons capacity. Weight exceeding 8 tons is charged at $145 per ton.

Prohibited Items

Certain materials cannot be placed in bins, including hazardous waste, chemicals, liquid paint, propane tanks, batteries, and asbestos. Placing prohibited items in the bin may result in additional fees and service delays.

Overloading

Bins must not be filled above the top edge. Overloaded bins cannot be safely transported and may require partial unloading before pickup.

Placement

Bins are placed on customer property as directed. The customer is responsible for ensuring adequate access and appropriate placement location.

Property Damage

While we take care during delivery and pickup, bins are heavy and may cause minor surface damage to driveways. Base Bins is not responsible for cosmetic damage to asphalt, concrete, or gravel surfaces.

Additional Fees

The following may incur additional charges:

  • Extra trips due to overloading, blocked access, or relocation requests ($120)
  • Appliances with refrigerants ($50/unit)
  • Mattresses and box springs ($50/unit)
  • Tires ($20/unit)
  • Winter scrape fee when applicable ($50)

Cancellation

Cancellations made before delivery incur no charge. Cancellations after delivery has occurred are subject to full rental fees.

Junk Removal Terms

Junk removal Pricing is based on volume and provided before service begins. Additional items discovered during service may adjust the final price with customer approval.

Liability

Base Bins maintains $2 million liability insurance and full WSIB compliance. Our liability is limited to direct damages caused by our negligence.

Service Area

Services are provided within our Ottawa service area. Locations outside our standard coverage may be accommodated with additional fees.

Changes to Terms

Base Bins reserves the right to modify these terms. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
